Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a club available to 5th and 6th graders.  Those who wish to participate will work in a team of three.  They will read four pre-selected books per battle and will compete against other school teams in our three battle competitions.  The team with the most cumulative points after three battle competitions will represent our school at the District Battle at the Chandler Center for the Arts.  

Practice Sessions: Every other Monday 3:00–3:45. A schedule will be given to members.  Practice sessions will be used to discuss the books the students have read, practice the titles and authors, and help students be prepared for the competitions.
