Welcome to Our Carlson Spiritline!
Do you like to dance, cheer, or have a lot of school spirit? If you like to do any of these, you are perfect for the Carlson Spiritline! You do not need a dance or cheer background but if you do, that is great! All girls will be trained intensely and have equal opportunities to progress. Cheerleaders are choreographed according to ability, style, attitude, and skill. We work on pom/cheer positions, chants, short dance routines, and, of course, begin each training session with stretching and exercise. There are a few school events that we will perform at, as well as public events.
Guidelines:
Carlson cheerleaders are expected to set an outstanding example of courtesy and respect toward coaches, fellow cheerleaders, and all Carlson students on and off campus. We are representing Carlson as SPIRIT LEADERS!
Dress Code:
For practices: comfortable bottoms and shirts that cover that cover your stomach, (no jeans, jean shorts, or skirts, dresses), tennis shoes (no vans or converse), hair must be up in a full ponytail.
On December 3, 2023, our Carlson Spirit Line performed in the Chandler Parade of Lights.
Yesterday, the City of Chandler parade organizers announced that the Carlson Spirit Line won 1st Place in the “Best Lit Musical and Dance” category!!
The cheer team is excited to receive their award on January 8th at the Chandler City Council meeting!
We couldn’t be prouder of our girl’s hard work and dedication to cheer this semester AND a big thank you to all our amazing cheer families who helped bring the parade vision to life.
